The Partille World Cup is the largest and most international youth handball championship in the world. Each year, approximately 1,400 teams from 50 countries participate, playing 5,000 games on 70 courts.
The Partille World Cup was organized as early as 1970 by the handball club IK Sävehof. It is known by many as the "original" event and has since been visited by thousands of teams and competitors from around the world.
Over the years, more than 500,000 participants have participated in this event. They represent 96 different countries with a total of 30,300 teams. Many of them come back year after year.

It is a gathering place for young people from all over the world, regardless of religion, color or nationality, with handball as the common denominator.

This week is full of encounters, big and small, both planned and spontaneous. The opening ceremony is the main gathering of the week.
The two-hour show includes music, dance, fireworks and performances from various countries, making it a fun-filled event. Scandinavia was packed with 15,000 people and everyone was there.
When contestants from all over the world entered the arena, music from all over the world was played; when the New Year's song sounded, it was the audience who sang.
We believe this is a time of harmony and friendship for everyone. We wanted to create this moment through Patial's World Cup opening performance.

As part of this year's "Celebrate the Planet" initiative, the Partille World Cup invites green organizers to sort waste.
Partille World Cup has launched a new initiative this year called "Celebrate the Planet" to demonstrate its commitment to the environment. The scheme introduces "green masters" who collect and sort waste at sports pitches and bins to reduce global CO2 emissions and tackle the climate crisis.
